Van has 31 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry. He holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Van also holds the certification as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of REALTORS® (CRCBR). His community and association involvement have included: Member of the Kiwanis Club of Monroe, Programs Committee of the Charlotte Board of Realtors, Board of Trustees for Lake Park Christian Academy, Board of Directors for Turning Point, Long Range Planning Committee for Rolling Hill Country Club and the Legislative Committee for The Union County Home Builder’s Association.
He is currently serving as a regional director of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of REALTORS® (CRCBR).
Van has also served on the City of Monroe Residential Advisor Council, The Union County Home Builder’s Board of Directors, Rose Hill HOA Board of Directors and is a past President of Rolling Hills Country Club.
Van holds both a N.C. and S.C. Real Estate License.
